Information You Submit
Search terms
A name, place, or other term entered in a search box is sent to the third-party company that operates that tool. Pulaski County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own system. The provider's policy governs its processing.
Messages
If you send an email or contact message, we keep the information needed to read and answer it. We do not disclose the message outside the organization unless the law requires us to do so.
Technical Data Collected Automatically
Routine logs and measurement tools may collect limited technical facts when a page loads:
- Internet Protocol address
- Browser name and version
- Device class and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent
- The referring site, when supplied
- Date and time stamps
Cookies
Cookies help measure how visitors use the site and may support advertising. A browser can reject or clear them, though parts of the site or an embedded service may then work differently.
Why Data Is Used
Collected data may be used to keep pages available and responsive, route a query to the proper search provider, measure which Pulaski release-record resources help readers, diagnose faults, prevent misuse, and display advertising that may reflect a visitor's interests.
Websites and Advertising Partners
Links lead to NRVRJ, Pulaski County, Virginia courts, VADOC, federal locators, and outside search tools. Once a visitor leaves, the destination's terms and privacy policy apply. Some advertising companies may measure activity across sites to select ads. That tracking occurs through their systems, not as a Pulaski County government function.
Parties That May Receive Data
We do not sell personal data. Limited information may still reach:
- Search partners that process a submitted query
- Analytics services that measure site use
- Advertising networks that deliver or assess ads
- Law enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal order
Security Has Limits
Reasonable security practices are used to protect information. No internet service, storage system, or transmission method can be promised as breach-proof. Users should avoid sending sensitive facts that are not needed for a message.
Adults Only
This site is intended for people age 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from a minor. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may ask that it be deleted.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and verification, a user may ask for a copy of personal data held by us, request correction of an error, request deletion, or object to certain processing. Browser controls may also limit cookies. Requests can be sent through the Contacts page.
Changes to This Notice
This privacy notice may be revised as practices or services change. The current text and a new effective date will be posted on this page.
